I went Autumn colors viewing cycling to Nakatsu ravine in Otaki area Chichibu city.

I bycicled to my nearest station of Chichibu railway, put the bike in the bag, got on the train with it and arrived at the terminal station, Mitsumineguchi.

The sky was beautiful in the morning, but it was sooo windy.

I started cycling from the station by the road uphill along the valley.
 


I had to ride uphill this loop bridge. This was one of the hardest place in this trip.


This is the entrance of Nakatsu ravine which is about 15km far from the station.
One of my favorite spot!


Another one of my favorite spot! They have wild boar soup and other local foods.
They are only open in this season.
This place is about 25km far from the station.


    


Sorry for my poor photo skills. The real autumn colors were really beautiful!
The leafs were mainly orange and they looked like glowing.
There are about 100m high cliffs on the other side of the river.
 
 


There is a small village.



On my way back to the station I saw a Japanese serow by the road.
We stared at each other. It looked tensed. After a while it started to relax and sniff around. I left there.




This was the 3rd time to visit there on the same route. The last time was 4 years ago.
This was the best timing for the autumn colors.

Only two things I hate about this place...
There are eleven tunnels on the road to get to the ravine. They do have side walks, however none of them are wide enough to ride safely and comfortably.
The road is busy with dump tracks on weekdays. It is terrifying when one pass me on the narrow road..

Still I enjoy this cycling every time. 

I'm into indoor bouldering.
I first did it in June 2 years ago and I immediately got into it.
I did it for 6months but I couldn't do next 6 months because I was too busy.

I restarted it in June last year and I still do it. I really enjoy it. 
I'm doing v0 to v1 now.
Some v0- problems are still difficult to me. However there are v2 problems I can do.

The picture is one of climbing gyms I go. It's my favorite. 
Though it takes me more than 1 hour to get there I go there at least twice a month.

I have been far from startrek things for a while except for reading fanfics occasionally.
I started to read A stitch in time by Andrew Robinson resently. I started rewatching TNG today.
I started feeling like to do some fan art of Startrek again.

I didn't posted these artworks because I didn't really like them when I finished.
A few weeks ago I checked these four drawings and thought they aren't bad so I posted them at once to encourage/force myself to do the next one.

     

I started Tumblr.

I already have a blog on Blogger.
I don't know how I'm going to use them separately.
I don't know if I will ever continue using Tumblr.

Tumblr is a little easier for me to blog from my mobile phone than Blogger.

The sunset was sooooo beautiful today.
